To Sparrow, with Love

I remember the times O Sparrow
When I was young and you were little
Days began with your rhythmic chirrups
And evenings spoke of my innocent twiddles.

Your nest was an oft visited place
During playtime in sunny weather
I was amazed at the way you sewed it all
Twigs and yarns and feathers.

My garden was more beckoning
When you sang there with your troop
Daffodils and Butterflies danced
And I fostered you with drupes.

I daily gazed at the eternal sky
And watched you fly high ,in blue extremes
Your vigor,your freedom and your abiding bustle
Intrigued me to live my Dreams.

I remember the times O Sparrow
When a storm struck us both
You coped up the next day ,I heard your song
It rejuvenated, my heart and hope.

You often came and sat by my verandah
And were ne’er afraid of me
You made my ambience cheerful
And I just loved your very being!

Ah! But O little birdie, where have you
disappeared now?Long time,no see!
I just miss your soulful songs
and I JUST MISS THEE!

 
PS: The House Sparrow is now a disappearing species.To raise an awareness among people,World Sparrow Day is observed every year on March 20th(It started in 2010only).The theme for this year is :"Chirp for the Sparrow,tweet for the Sparrow".

What's so much there in the 'Surname'?

In every home a burning ghat
In every home a gallows
In every home are prison walls
Colliding against the walls

Sati System,Female Foeticide,Dowry Deaths,Honour Killing.Any guesses what's next in the 'honourable' series?The scenario today is Grandmothers killing grand daughters,brothers killing sisters,Mothers slaughtering daughters and Fathers smothering sons.Murder of the BLOOD,by the BLOOD ,for the BLOOD.Who said Man was born free.I'm amazed at this horrendous show of man's inhumanity to man.Truly awestruck.And the irony is that these barbarous and  savages justify their 'deeds' under the aegis of 'FAMILY HONOUR'.

We all grow up with the weight of history on us.  Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains.Probably that's the reason we look forward to Best lifestyles,Vision 2020,'Educated Society' but we cannot do away with CASTEISM  and COMMUNALISM.It is not only limited to the lower strata but to the 'high-born' equally. I wonder what's so much there in the 'SURNAME' that differentiates between humans,that brings the devil inside out ,that causes a huge massacre of love ,of emotions,of feelings,of bonds and of relationships. Incidentally and interestingly, it is ironic to see participants in the debate over the caste census argue that ideally, caste should be done away with ‘except in matters of marriage’!Anything more stupid ?We all are against RESERVATIONS but we do not support Inter-cast Marriages.I have no other words, but I feel pity on the narrow-mindedness of the 'intelligent elites'.

Is it always the Caste factor or something else?Probably loving-against-the-will-of-parents.Whatever it is ,the 'mindsets' will have to change to match the pace of fast-moving -world.

Let our RELIGION  be KINDNESS ,our CASTE be HUMANITY.

To all my boy friends!

Well if you have not noticed the space between 'boy' and 'friends' and you are expecting something cheesy  here,you are wrong.This silly grin on your face will soon halt on a serious note.

I was heavily grieved today after reading another dowry debacle of a 23 year old who was murdered barbarously by a satan who unfortunately had become her husband,just some 3 hours before. Shame on humanity!There are atleast 5 cases of dowry deaths daily on my local newspaper itself.And we proudly boast that our literacy rate is increasing.Damn it! If you are incapable of feeding another person in your family who's gonna be your other half  for the rest of your life,why the hell you sought to marry?How can you sell your soul for a hefty sum or an Indigo Manza or a Diamond ring when you can't manage to have them all by your own very self. Even if it's not you but your parents why don't you stand against something which is verily immoral? Why you 'kuldeepaks' end up burning an innocent heart?Sorry, but if you can't stop all this (atleast in your case)then you do not qualify enough,neither morally nor legally to tie knots(with any girl whatsoever).Be a GAY man! Yeah,you read it right-Be a GAY you looser!
